The Edge 70 marks the opening chapter of Motorola’s Edge 70 lineup. While the Edge 60 remained in discussion for some time, this new generation begins with a clear shift in design and refinement. More models are expected to follow, but the Edge 70 sets the foundation with its focus on balance, form factor, and overall experience.
At first glance, two things immediately stand out: its extreme thinness and remarkably light build. Despite its slim profile, the device feels well-balanced, offering a thoughtful mix of performance, display quality, and camera capability. The Edge 70 aims to deliver a complete smartphone experience without leaning too heavily in any single direction.
Design, Build, and In-Hand Feel
The Edge 70 immediately distinguishes itself with its form factor. At just under 6mm in thickness and weighing approximately 159.7 grams, it is among the lightest smartphones of 2025. The frame is constructed from metal with a brushed aluminum finish, contributing to both durability and premium appeal.
