The Lava Play Max 5G has officially launched in India as the newest addition to the Lava Play series. The company has introduced this smartphone in two colour variants. Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, bringing efficient performance to the mid-range segment.
The Lava Play Max features a 6.72-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. For photography, it houses a 50MP rear camera setup, while a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging ensures dependable backup throughout the day.
Lava Play Max 5G Price
The base model of the Lava Play Max 5G, offering 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, is priced at ₹12,999.
The second variant, featuring 8GB RAM, comes in at ₹14,999.
The phone is available in two colour choices: Deccan Black and Himalayan White.

The Lava Play Max 5G sports a 6.72-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate for a fluid viewing experience. It runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, paired with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage. The device operates on Android 15 right out of the box.
A virtual RAM expansion feature is also provided, allowing users to extend memory by up to an additional 8GB. The phone comes with a microSD card slot that supports storage expansion up to 1TB.
For photography enthusiasts, the handset includes a 50MP rear camera equipped with Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) and capable of recording 4K videos at 30fps. On the front, an 8MP selfie shooter manages selfies and video calls. The phone also carries an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance.
To enhance performance during gaming and heavy multitasking, the device includes a Vapour Chamber cooling system. Lava claims that titles like COD Mobile, BGMI, and Free Fire run smoothly on the Play Max. Completing the package is a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
